Module 01 · Powerboat Level 1

Introduction & Safety Equipment

Get to know the boat, engine components, required safety equipment and the fundamental rules before you step aboard.

Module 02 · Powerboat Level 1

Boat Handling

Hands-on practical time on the water learning the fundamentals of steering, throttle control and basic manoeuvring.

✓ Slow speed manoeuvring
✓ Coming alongside & leaving a pontoon
✓ Simple anchoring techniques

Module 03 · Powerboat Level 1

Safety & Rules of the Water

Understanding the collision regulations, exclusion zones, signals and how to keep yourself and others safe on the water.

Module 02 · Powerboat Level 2

Advanced Boat Handling

Extensive on-the-water practice for advanced handling, marina manoeuvres, anchoring and berthing.

✓ Berthing in wind and current
✓ High-speed handling techniques

Module 03 · Powerboat Level 2

Navigation & GPS

Using electronic navigation instruments, GPS chart plotters and VHF radio communications.

✓ GPS & chart plotter operation
✓ VHF radio & Mayday procedure
✓ Waypoints, routes & trip planning
✓ AIS & other navigational aids

Module 04 · Powerboat Level 2

MOB & Emergency Procedures

Training in rescue techniques, Man Overboard procedures and dealing with onboard emergencies.
